Industrial areas

To be able to rely on the availability of space is an essential requirement for a company wishing to start up, consolidate or relaunch its activity. Our objective is to make production areas available to you on competitive terms in a context in which, because of the very limited usable space available, the “territory as a resource” is itself a potential target for speculative investment.

In order to encourage the establishment, extension and restructuring of new companies in the area, in 2004 the Autonomous Province of Trento gave Trentino Sviluppo responsibility for acquiring and equipping industrial areas to be placed on the market (2008-2010 three-year plan for acquisition and equipping of areas for business activities).

This project is part of a policy of support and development of local production, and it takes place in three steps: first the land is acquired, including any buildings and works existing on it; the area is then developed by adding the basic structures and services essential for its use; lastly, roads, power lines, railway links, water mains, gas mains, telephone lines, sewerage networks and treatment plants, and dumping areas for waste products have to be built or installed.

Over the next thirty years we intend to make available to businesses production space totalling more than 600 thousand square metres, divided into fifteen or so areas located all over the province.
