Seed money Fund
To help you cover part of the start-up costs of your new company, we can assist you in activating “Seed Money”. This is a fund designed to promote the spread of business initiatives in innovative or high tech areas, and can be used to cover part of your start-up costs.
Applications for assistance should be submitted to Trentino Sviluppo. The service that we provide consists of evaluating whether you satisfy the requisites and whether your expenditure items are admissible, and then granting the prescribed contribution if approved by the scientific and technical Committee for research and innovation, which is responsible for assessing the level of innovation and the technological content of the business idea. .
The “Seed Money” innovation support fund is regulated by Provincial Law no. 6 dated 13th December, article 24-b. With Ruling no. 2576 dated 10th October 2008, the Provincial Council decided to give Trentino Sviluppo responsibility for awarding and paying grants. By virtue of this appointment we carry out the preliminary technical, economic and financial examination of project proposals submitted over the counter, or sometimes through calls and tenders, and we also take care of payment of grants.
