SRI – Research Business Desk
This is an initiative conceived and launched by Trentino Sviluppo SpA and the University of Trento to foster dialogue between the academic world and business.
The objective is to exploit university research and enable companies (especially local companies) - thanks partly to the support of the networks created over the years in the scientific rearch and technology transfer fields - to take advantage of the University’s vast store of knowledge and skills in order to respond to the need for technological innovation, training, research and development in the Trentino area. The project is also aimed at facilitating contact between businesses and the University, also by helping to identify a common language between the business world and the academic community. Last but not least, the aim is to provide various support tools to researchers who wish to “create business”.
There are a number of services available to companies and the academic community:
- from networking to the protection of intellectual property;
- from support in identifying financial instruments to support for applied research, technological innovation and the creation of new companies;
- looking for partners in the area and interlocutors on the local, national and international level
