At Trentino Sviluppo we work in close contact with the principal stakeholders in the financial, institutional and business system in the Province of Trento, all committed to the common goal of providing new life-blood to the growth of a system which intends to show the world that it is credible, competitive and innovative.
The following are our local
partners:
- Agenzia del Lavoro (Employment Department): promotes positive employment policy action in the Province;
- Trento Chamber of Commerce;
- Trentino Technology Cluster Consortium: the operational arm of Habitech, the Energy and Environment Cluster, is managed by a board of directors elected by the member companies. It works as a system integrator, encouraging cooperation between private companies and public institutions in order to promote the creation of specialized chains in the fields of sustainable building, renewable energy and environmental technology;
- Fbk-Irst (Bruno Kessler Foundation Institute for Scientific and Technological Research):a public redearch centre founded by the Province in 1976, for almost thirty years it has been conducting research in the fields of information technology, microsystems and the physics and chemistry of surfaces and interfaces;
- Fem-Edmund Mach Foundation (formerly Istituto Agrario San Michele all'Adige): at its research centre the Foundation conducts scientific experiments, services for companies and documentation on the organoleptic characteristics of agricultural foodstuffs produced in Trentino, by means of chemical, physical-chemical, biochemical, microbiological and nutritional research;
- Trentino Sprint: established by the Trento Chamber of Commerce and Trentino Sviluppo, it offers Trentino companies institutional services and assistance of an informative and advisory nature in order to help them to find openings in international markets;
- Trento branch of Confindustria (Federation of Industries);
- Trento Provincial Association of Artisans and Small and Medium Enterprises;
- Trento Provincial Union of Commerce, Tourism and Services.
On the national and international level, Trentino Sviluppo is an active partner in a number of networks, through which we have developed fruitful forms of cooperation:
- BIC Italia Net: represents and coordinates the interests of BIC associates in Italy and abroad;
- EBN (European Business and Innovation Centres Network): the European association of business incubators. EBN provides services aimed at coordinating BIC activities, and promotes the spread of BICs within the European Union and beyond;
- EEN (Enterprise Europe Network) : a European network whose objective is to provide support for business and the growth of enterprises in Europe. It was set up by the European Commission on 1st January 2008, merging the two previous networks EIC and IRC;
- EURADA (European Association of Development Agencies): promotes regional economic development through dialogue with the European Commission, trans-national cooperation and the exchange of know-how;
- IASP (International Association of Science Parks): promotes activities and exchanges of experience in the fields of technology transfer, innovation and research;
- IBAN (Italian Business Angel Network): represents and promotes in Italy the world of informal investors in small-scale risk capital. IBAN is part of a European network (EBAN, www.eban.orq ), which comprises 63 circuits of angel investors in 19 countries.
The following are shareholders in Trentino Sviluppo:
- The Autonomous Province of Trento (98.57%);
- The University of Trento (1.3%)
